   APOLOGIES: from Steve Cockley, Marcus Bowers, Kevin, and Darryl.

   MINUTES: agreed as true, no matters arising.

   REPORT ON SEASON 2008: Andy said the season had gone well, more wins than losses, with the new players all playing well. The only dissappointing

   thing was the few arguments with the opposition,although not all our fault, resulted in our losing a couple of long standing fixtures.

   REPORT ON FORTHCOMING SEASON 2009: Colin, as Fixture secretary, said that we had a full season of fixtures with only 1 spare date. Daniel said he

   may be able to fill this date with a team in Northampton involving an overnight stay. All agreed to pursue this and a vote of thanks was given to fixture

   secretary for all his hard work.

   TREASURERS REPORT: Last season we broke even, but due to grass cutting this year we may be in the red again, so we should look at raising fees to

   alleviate the problem. A rise up to £40 for signing on was proposed by Ray and seconded by Hughie. A rise up to £35 was proposed by Tony Bowers

   and seconded by Colin. To stay the same was proposed by Tony Keep and seconded by Joey.

   The vote was in favour of £35 signing on fee with match fees staying the same, with away fixtures looked at to cover the cost of teas.

   ELECTION OF OFFICERS:  Tony Bowers to be Life Member.  Captain: Andy proposed by Colin seconded by Tony Keep, Marcus propposed by Tony

   Bowers seconded by Daniel.    Vote in favour of Andy as Captain and Daniel as Vice Captain.

   ANY OTHER BUSINESS:     Ground was discussed at great length with grass cutting the main priority, also over the next few weeks must have lots

  of help preparing the ground.
